How i helped

Over the past three years, I worked as a mid-level graphic designer for a luxury sports start-up. Collaborating closely with the marketing team, I developed designs for marketing, digital and print campaigns that effectively conveys the brand's personality.

I collaborated closely with my creative director on x6 studio & lifestyle photoshoots, where I created a comprehensive shoot plans to compile my creative vision.

Royal Albartross

Art direction

During my time as part of the marketing team, I played a pivotal role in shaping the brand's direction through a captivating brand video. Our goal was to invigorate the brand and generate excitement that would set us apart from our competitors. To achieve this, I closely studied the objectives, key messaging, and visual style we aimed to convey, ensuring that the storyboard I developed seamlessly aligned with the brand's new and thrilling identity.

2022 brand video

The Royal Albartross logo needed to be redesigned as Its original long-form logo has many restraints for digital and print signage uses.

I gathered inspiration by researching current design trends in the sports industry. I looked at logos of successful sports brands and noted the elements that made them look modern and dynamic. I sketched out several rough concepts on paper, I played around with different shapes, fonts, and iconography to translate movement and energy.

Logo rework

I incorporated a dynamic graphic that symbolised motion and athleticism to infuse a sporty element - what better inspiration than the animal we’re named after?

Logo inspiration

I curated our organic and paid social designs by strategically selecting and arranging visually appealing content, leveraging cohesive branding, optimising for platform-specific requirements, and balancing engaging imagery with persuasive messaging. This approach ensured a consistent brand presence while effectively targeting our audience, maximising organic reach and paid conversion potential.
